Product Description

Listening is the ability to accurately receive and interpret messages in the communication process. Effective listening is a skill that underpins all positive relationships. Active listening helps us gain a pragmatic or practical understanding of what is being said and taken in by the child. For example, when a child hears a story, listening comprehension allows them to understand it, remember it, talk about it, and even retell it in their own words. Poor listening skills can have a huge impact on a child’s life and learning. A failure to attend and listen can lead to difficulties in understanding, following, and completing tasks successfully, sound awareness, reading and phonological awareness, play/socializing, and overall language.  A customized therapy-based program will be beneficial for children when taking in information, responding to instructions and the ability to share ideas, thought and opinions. Additionally, a customized program will aid children in increasing receptive and expressive language skills, and phonological awareness (hearing sounds). When followed at the recommended frequency, the adult will benefit, with an optimal achievement level of 100%.
