This display base is a heavy duty replica of a section of the Tanis map room floor where Indy figures out which hole to put the staff in so he can pinpoint the final resting place of the Ark of the Covenant. This base is intended to go on your floor and hold the complete Staff of Ra. However, you could also put this display base on a pedestal (or whatever), use a shorter wooden staff section, and display all the parts of the complete Staff of Ra in a more compact fashion. This listing is for one staff display base. Any additional item(s) seen in the pictures are sold separately. This display base is made from resin and painted to resemble the sandstone architecture in the Tanis map room as seen in the movie. The base measures about 10.5 inches (26.7cm) wide, 10.5 inches (26.7cm) long, and 2.75 inches (7cm) tall. The base weighs 6.7lbs (3.04kg). You can also accentuate the Staff Display Base by using a semi-permanent sand mixture like what is used on dioramas.
